Symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men w/ an enlarged prostate to improve symptoms, reduce the risk of acute urinary retention & the need for surgery including transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) & prostatectomy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Women & childn. Pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ liver function abnormalities. Increased PSA levels. Impotence &/or decreased libido. Changes in breasts eg, lumps, pain or nipple discharge. Breast changes including breast enlargement, tenderness & neoplasm. Lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Impotence, decrease libido & vol of ejaculation, ejaculation disorder, breast enlargement & tenderness, rash.
