Prevention of recurrence of cerebral infarction (excluding cardiogenic cerebral embolism). Treatment of ischemic symptoms including ulcer, pain & coldness of the extremities, chronic arterial occlusion.
Dosage/Direction for Use
100 mg bid. Dosage adjusted to age of patient & severity of symptoms.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take at least 30 min before or 2 hr after meals.
Contraindications
Hemorrhage, CHF. Pregnant or possibly pregnant women, lactation.
Special Precautions
Patients on anticoagulant, antiplatelet or antithrombotic drugs; patients w/ bleeding tendency; during menstruation; severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Anticoagulants & other antiplatelet agents may increase bleeding tendency. Blood conc may be increased by CYP3A4 (eg, erythromycin) & CYP2C19 (eg, omeprazole) inhibitors.
