Manifestations of schizophrenia. Acute or mixed mania episodes associated w/ bipolar I disorder.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Bipolar I (acute, mixed or manic episodes) Monotherapy: Initially 10-15 mg once daily may be increased 5 mg/day at intervals of not less than 24 hr. Maintenance: 5-20 mg/day. Recommended max dose: 20 mg/day. Schizophrenia Initially 5-10 mg once daily. Thereafter, adjust 5 mg/day at 1 wk intervals up to a recommended max of 20 mg/day. Maintenance: 10-20 mg once daily.
