Per tab Brompheniramine maleate 4 mg, phenylephrine HCl 10 mg. Per 5 mL Brompheniramine maleate 2 mg, phenylephrine HCl 5 mg
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief of allergic manifestation of resp illness. Temporary relief of nasal congestion.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab tid to qid or 6-8 hrly. Syr Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL. Childn 6-12 yr 5 mL, 2-6 yr 2.5 mL, <2 yr 1.25 mL. To be taken tid to qid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hyperthyroidism, HTN & cardiac disease.
Special Precautions
Glaucoma, cardiac disease, diabetes. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, palpitations.
Drug Interactions
MAOIs, CNS depressants, anticholinergics & TCA.

Cough & Cold Preparations / Antihistamines & Antiallergics
