Allergic conjunctivitis, congestion caused by hay fever conjunctivitis, drug or chemical hypersensitivity reaction, excessive lacrimal secretion or stenosis of the lacrimal canal.

HTN, cardiac irregularities or CV disease, hyperglycemia, thyroid disease, DM, prostatic enlargement, infection or injury. Concomitant use w/ MAOIs or TCAs. Not recommended to wear contact lens. Pregnancy & lactation. Infants.

Adverse Reactions
Mydriasis, ocular hyperemia; headache, sleepiness; tachycardia. Burning sensation in eye; tremor, agitation; sweating, angina pectoris, increases arterial pressure.

Risk of vasoconstriction &/or hypertensive episodes w/ indirect sympathomimetics, dopaminergic ergot alkaloids, ergometrine, vasoconstrictive ergot alkaloids. Hypertensive episodes w/ non-selective MAOIs.
