Isosorbide 5-mononitrate
Indications/Uses
Prophylaxis of angina pectoris, treatment of CHF & MI.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab bid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Marked hypotension, acute MI w/ low left ventricular filling pressure.
Special Precautions
Not suitable for treating attacks of angina pectoris. In acute MI only under strict medical supervision.
Adverse Reactions
Transient headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, orthostatic hypotension.
