Indications/Uses
Maturity-onset DM not manageable by diet alone.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-8 tab daily in divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 30 min before meals.
Contraindications
Type 1 diabetes, ketoacidosis, diabetic coma, severe infection, stress, trauma.
Special Precautions
Renal or hepatic impairment, debilitated physical condition. Pregnancy. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Hypoglycemia, GI disturbances, skin reactions, headache, dizziness, hypersensitivity reactions.
Drug Interactions
Oral anticoagulant, hydantoins, salicylate, other NSAIDs, sulfonamides.
