Indications/Uses
Gastric & duodenal ulcer, reflux oesophagitis & Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Dosage/Direction for Use
20 mg once daily for 4-6 wk.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately before a meal.
Special Precautions
Should not be recommended in case of malignancy.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, headache, diarrhoea, constipation & rarely, skin rash.
Drug Interactions
Prolongs elimination of diazepam, warfarin & phenytoin, drugs metabolised by oxidation in the liver & drugs metabolised via CYP450 enzyme system.
