Indications/Uses
Relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis & chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab once daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Do not take w/ fruit juice.
Special Precautions
Renal or hepatic impairment.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, drowsiness, nausea, dizziness & fatigue. Anaphylaxis & hypersensitivity reactions; back pain, dysmenorrhea, sinusitis, viral infections.
Drug Interactions
Increased fexofenadine plasma level w/ erythromycin or ketoconazole. Decreased bioavailability w/ Al- & Mg-containing antacids.
