Indications/Uses

Dosage/Direction for Use
Acute gonorrhea 1 tab as single dose. GIT & resp tract infections 2 tab bid. Skin & soft tissue, bone & joint infections 2-3 tab bid. UTI 1-2 tab bid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals to minimise GI discomfort. Do not take w/ antacids, Fe or dairy products.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or other quinolones. Pregnancy, lactation. Childn & juveniles.
Special Precautions
Epilepsy, CNS damage.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances; dizziness, headache, tiredness; skin reactions.
Drug Interactions
Absorption reduced by antacids. May increase theophylline plasma levels. May potentiate effects of oral anticoagulants, phenytoin.
