Cefalexin monohydrate
Indications/Uses
Resp tract, GUT, skin, soft tissues, bone & joint infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cap Adult 1 g daily in divided doses. Dry syr Childn 25-50 mg/kg daily in divided doses.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity to penicillins. Renal impairment.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances.
