Ferrous fumarate, cyanocobalamin, folic acid.
Each tablet contains ferrous fumarate 90 mg, cyanocobalamin 4 mcg and folic acid 1 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Bulking agents (calcium carbonate prep (maltodextrin), microcrystalline cellulose), anticaking agents (magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide), tablet coating (hpmc, talc, glycerine-colouring (titanium dioxide, carmine riboflavin)), folic acid, cyanocobalamin prep (di-calcium phosphate).
Iron and Folic Acid deficiency aneamia. Prevention and treatment of anaemia die to deficiency or increased requirements of the active agents e.g. haemorrhages of traumatic or endogenous origin, pregnancy, growth, convalescence, and senility and poor nutrition.
One or two tablets to be taken daily after food. Do not exceed the started dose.
If the patient had taken or had been given an overdose of Wanse Tablets then the patients should seek medical attention as soon as possible. When seeking medical advice, the patient should, if possible, take Wanse provided that it doesn't cause delay.
Do not take the tablets if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Wanse Tablets should only be used during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester, after careful assessment by a physician.
Do not take the tablets if the patient has peptic ulcer or intestinal blockage.
Do not take the tablets if the patient has been prescribed any medicines without consulting a physician or a pharmacist because iron supplements can affect and be affected by them.
Wanse Tablets should only be used during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester, after careful assessment by a physician.
As with all iron containing products, the elderly may suffer from severe constipation in which case the patient should discontinue treatment immediately and seek medical advice.
Store below 30°C. Keep dry and avoid direct sunlight.
