Do not inject intravascularly. Do not give by IM route to persons w/ bleeding disorder (eg, haemophilia or thrombocytopenia) or on anticoagulant therapy. Place procedures to prevent injury from faints & manage syncopal reactions. Yellow fever vaccine-associated neurotropic & viscerotropic diseases. Do not administer to immunosuppressed persons & those w/ symptomatic or asymptomatic HIV infection. Delay vaccination until at least 1 mth after completing the course in patients who received systemic corticosteroids for ≥14 days. False positive results w/ laboratory &/or diagnostic tests for other flavivirus related diseases (eg, dengue or Japanese encephalitis). May not protect 100% of vaccinated individuals. Contains Na (23 mg/dose), K (39 mg/dose), sorbitol; tip caps of pre-filled syringes contains latex. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn 6-9 mth; & in those born to HIV positive mothers. Elderly ≥60 yr.
