Prevention & treatment of candidal infections of the oral cavity & esophagus for intestinal candidiasis & protection against candidal overgrowth during antimicrobial or corticosteroid therapy.
Adult & childn 1 mL qds drop into mouth, swish throughout the mouth for as long as possible, gargle & swallow. Infant1 mL qds drop into the side of the mouth & swallow. ProphylaxisNewborn1 mL once daily, may be given by dropper directly into the mouth.
No appreciable activity against bacteria, protozoa or viruses. Patients w/ full or partial dentures who have symptomatic oral candidiasis must soak their dentures nightly in reconstituted nystatin for oral susp. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly.

Adults: 2.4 million units
