Indications/Uses
Treatment or sustained relief of OA pain of the knee.
Dosage/Direction for Use
IA Adult (including elderly) Inj into the affected joint once a wk for total: 5 inj. May be repeated at ≥6 mthly intervals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or avian proteins. Infections or skin diseases in the area of inj site.
Special Precautions
Remove joint effusion before inj. Acute joint inflammation. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Sporadically, pain, swelling, heat & redness in the inj site.
Drug Interactions
Do not administer simultaneously or mixed w/ other IA inj. Can precipitate w/ disinfectants containing quaternary ammon salts.
