Miconazole nitrate
Indications/Uses
Tinea pedis, tinea cruris & tinea corporis, cutaneous candidiasis (moniliasis) & tinea versicolor.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Skin infection Apply once or bd daily for 2-5 wk. Nail infection Apply once daily. Treatment should be continued at least 1 wk after disappearance of all signs & symptoms.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if irritation/sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact w/ eyes & mucous membranes. Prolonged use. Pregnancy (1st trimester) & lactation. Do not use in childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, itching or irritation, pelvic cramps, headache, hives/skin rash.
