Miconazole nitrate 2%, hydrocortisone 1%
Indications/Uses
Superficial fungal infection accompanied by inflammation, eczematous rash, superinfection by fungus &/or gm+ve bacteria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Skin infection Apply once or bd. Nail infection Apply once daily & cover w/ bandage.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, untreated bacterial or viral lesions, acne rosacea, perioral dermatitis.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if irritation/sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact w/ eyes & mucous membranes. Prolonged use may give rise to overgrowth of nonsusceptible organism. Treating lesions complicated w/ stasis dermatitis or impaired circulation. Pregnancy & lactation. Do not use in childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Dry skin, pruritus, irritation, mild to moderate transient burning/stinging.
