Acet Suppositories are used to relieve mild to moderate pain, and to reduce fever.
Adults and Children over 12 years: One suppository (650 mg) every 4 to 6 hours as necessary. Do not use immediately before bowel movement. Maximum daily dosage recommended is 6 suppositories.
Children under 1 year: Use only on the advice of a physician.
Children 1 to 2 years: One suppository (120 mg) every 4 hours, to a maximum of 5 doses in 24 hours.
Children 2 to 4 years: One suppository (160 mg) every 4 hours. Maximum daily dosage recommended is 6 suppositories.
4 to 6 years: One suppository (325 mg) every 6 hours. Maximum daily dosage recommended is 4 suppositories.
6 to 12 years: One suppository (325 mg) every 4 hours as needed. Maximum daily dosage recommended is 6 suppositories.
Instructions: Wash hands with soap and water.
Remove plastic wrapper.
Moisten suppository with cool water.
Lie on one side with bottom leg straight and upper leg bent up toward chest.
Gently push suppository as high as possible into rectum.
Wash hands with soap and water.
Recommended non-pharmacological methods to manage fever: Adequate fluid intake.
Light clothing.
Body sponging with tepid water.
Signs of overdose: Nausea or vomiting, stomach cramps or pain, and unusual increases in sweating, diarrhoea, loss of appetite. Onset may be delayed 24 hours after intake.
Information on the Emergency Management of Overdosage: In the event of accidental ingestion of large quantities of suppositories.
Contact Poison Control Center or Physician at once. Prompt medical attention is critical even in the absence of symptoms.
If emergency help is not available, vomiting should be induced at once (within 30 minutes) by syrup of ipecac, VOMITING SHOULD NEVER BE INDUCED IN UNCONSCIOUS INDIVIDUALS OR IN CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 1 YEAR OLD WITHOUT MEDICAL HELP.

It is hazardous to exceed the maximum recommended dose unless advised by a physician.
Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child.
Serious skin reactions: Rarely, acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions such as acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), which can be fatal. Patients should be informed about the signs of serious skin reactions, and use of the drug should be discontinued at the first appearance of skin rash or any other sign of hypersensitivity.
The instances of hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) to acetaminophen usually occur as a rash or itching.
Significant incompatibilities and Drug Interactions: Concomitant use of Acetaminophen and an anticoagulant may increase the time necessary for blood to coagulate. A physician should be consulted prior to taking this medication in case of: Allergy to Acetaminophen, chronic alcoholism, kidney or liver disease; and Intake of other medications containing acetaminophen and salicylates.
