Dosage/Direction for Use

Initially 5-10 mg once daily. May be increased up to 20 mg daily.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 15 min before meals. However, when initiating therapy, 1st dose should be given at bedtime.

Contraindications

Patients w/ history of angioneurotic edema & other allergic reactions due to ACE inhibitors. Pregnancy & lactation.

Patients w/ renal disease, unilateral or bilateral renal artery stenosis, Na depletion or hypovolemia, those undergoing dialysis, major surgery or during anesth. Elderly hypertensives.
