Indications/Uses
PUD, NSAID-associated ulceration, GERD, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 20 or 40 mg once daily by IV inj (no <3 min) or IV infusion (10-30 min).
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Concomitant use w/ imidazole antifungal (eg, ketoconazole).
Adverse Reactions
Constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, gas, headache, nausea, pain, swelling or redness at inj site, stomach pain. Severe allergic reactions (rash, hives, itching, breathing difficulty, chest tightness, swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue, unusual hoarseness); chest pain; fast heartbeat; fever; chills or sore throat; red, swollen, blistered or peeling skin; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual tiredness.
