Vit A 5,000 IU, vit D2 400 IU, Ca 90.7 mg, vit E 75 mg, P 70 mg, vit C 60 mg, deanol 30 mg, Korean panax ginseng 20 mg, vit B3 20 mg, Ca pantothenate 10 mg, Mg 5 mg, royal jelly 5 mg, K 4 mg, vit B6 2 mg, vit B2 1.5 mg, vit B1 1.5 mg, Mn 1 mg, Zn 1 mg, vit B12 3 mcg
Indications/Uses
To achieve a balanced intake of vit by individuals w/ increased needs or slight deficiency, as a supplement during recovery after illness.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Preferably taken after breakfast.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Existing hypervitaminosis A & D. Hypercalcemia. Severe hypercalciuria. Severely impaired renal function.
Special Precautions
Patients receiving other multivit prep, single vit, the synthetic vit A isomers isotretinoin & etretinate, or β-carotene, or those under medical care. Diabetic patients. Patients w/ nephrolithiasis or urolithiasis. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
GI & abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, discolored faeces; allergic reaction, anaphylactic reaction & shock; headache, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness; chromaturia (slight yellow discoloration of urine).
Drug Interactions
Products containing Ca, Mg or Zn may interact w/ orally administered antacids, gastric acid suppressive medications, antibiotics (tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones), levodopa, levothyroxine, thyroxine, bisphosphonates, penicillamine, trientine, digitalis, antiviral agents & thiazide diuretics. Do not exclude interaction between ginseng & coumarin-type anticoagulants. May inhibit Ca absorption w/ oxalic acid (found in spinach & rhubarb) & phytic acid (found in fiber-containing whole-grain products).
