Prevention of atherosclerotic events in patients w/ history of recent MI, recent ischemic stroke or established peripheral arterial disease or non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome including patients w/ percutaneous coronary intervention & CABG. Given prophylactically as an alternative to aspirin in patients at risk of thromboembolic disorders.
MI, stroke, peripheral arterial disease & prophylaxis of thromboembolic events 75 mg once daily. Unstable angina/non-Q wave MI Loading dose: 300 mg as a single dose. Continue 75 mg once daily in combination w/ aspirin.
