Indications/Uses

Symptomatic management of pain & fever associated w/ common childhood disorders, tonsillitis, upper resp tract infections, post immunization reactions & other conditions including prevention of febrile convulsion. Short term management of OA of the knee & suitable substitute for patients sensitive to aspirin.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 500-1,000 mg 4-6 hr. Max: 4,000 mg daily. Childn 6-12 yr 250-500 mg, 1-5 yr 120-250 mg, 3 mth-1 yr 60-120 mg, <3 mth 10 mg/kg.
