Per 2.5 mL Ipratropium Br 500 mcg, salbutamol sulfate 2.5 mg
Indications/Uses
Adjunct treatment to anti-inflammatory therapy & bronchodilators in asthma to prevent exacerbations. Maintenance treatment of COPD including chronic bronchitis & emphysema.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to atropine & its derivatives. History of hypersensitivity to soya lecithin or related food products eg, soybean & peanut.
Adverse Reactions
Tremor, nervousness, tachycardia, dizziness, headache, hypokalemia, dry mouth, throat irritation, urinary retention, nausea & arrhythmia.
Drug Interactions
Anticholinergics, β-blockers, α-adrenergic agents, diuretics, MAOIs or tricyclic antidepressants.
