Contents
Ethinyl estradiol 35 mcg, norethisterone 400 mcg
Indications/Uses
OC. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (eg, dysmenorrhea, endometriosis & ovarian dysgenesis).
Dosage/Direction for Use
OC 1 tab/day beginning on or before the 5th day of menstrual cycle for 21 days, then 7 tab-free days. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (eg, dysmenorrhea, endometriosis & ovarian dysgenesis) 1 tab daily for 21 days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Liver disease eg, Dubin-Johnson & Rotor syndromes, benign cholestatic jaundice of pregnancy. Breast & genital cancer, thrombophlebitis &/or thromboembolic phenomena.
Special Precautions
Myomata uteri, CVA, CV & renal diseases, DM, epilepsy, migraine & ophth problems. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Breast ache, nausea, headache & dizziness.
Drug Interactions
Enzyme-inducing drug eg, carbamazepine, griseofulvin, phenobarbitone, phenytoin & rifampicin.
