Mometasone furoate
Indications/Uses
Relief of inflammatory & pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses eg, psoriasis & atopic dermatitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin film to the affected area once daily.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to mometasone furoate or other corticosteroids.
Special Precautions
Discontinue treatment if irritation or sensitization develops; if favorable response does not occur promptly. Use appropriate antifungal or antibacterial agent in presence of infection. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation, burning sensation, paresthesia, pruritus, acneiform reaction, signs of skin atrophy.
