Patients prone to seizures eg, patients w/ pre-existing CNS lesions; patients being treated w/ fenbufen or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, using medicines which lower the cerebral seizure threshold eg, theophylline. May give false -ve results in the bacteriological diagnosis of TB. Avoid exposure to UV light or UVA. May alter the ability to drive or to operate machinery.
May interfere w/ GI absorption w/ antacids containing Mg or Al, sucralfate, metal cations eg, Fe & multivit prep w/ Zn. Increased risk of CNS stimulation & convulsive seizures w/ NSAID. Disturbances of blood glucose, including hyper- & hypoglycemia w/ an oral hypoglycemic agent (eg, glyburide) or w/ insulin.
