Description
Each tablet contains: Meloxicam 10 mg.
Indications/Uses
For symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in rheumatic diseases, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other degenerative joint diseases. For the management of pain and other discomforts associated with surgery, childbirth, sports injuries, trauma and other mild to moderate inflammatory conditions where anti-inflammatory treatment is required.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tablet once daily or as prescribed by the physician.
Contraindications
In patients with active peptic ulceration.
In patients with bleeding disorders.
In patients with severe uncontrolled heart failure.
In patients with severe hepatic insufficiency.
In patients with severe renal insufficiency.
Pregnant and lactating patients.
Patients with hypersensitivity reactions.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
Loxaid is contraindicated in pregnant and lactating patients.
Adverse Reactions
GI: Gastrointestinal disturbances such as gastrointestinal discomfort & perforation, ulcer, nausea, constipation and diarrhea.
Skin: Pruritus, Rash, Urticaria, Stevens - Johnson syndrome.
CNS: Headache and Dizziness.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light.
