Relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, tension headaches, neuralgia, back & toothache, sore throat, period pain; symptomatic relief of sprains, strains, rheumatic pain, sciatica, lumbago, fibrositis, muscular aches & pains, joint swelling & stiffness, flu, feverishness & feverish colds. May also be used for symptomatic relief of pain due to non-serious arthritis.
Elderly, adult & childn >16 yr 1-2 tab up to qid as required. Do not take >8 tab daily. Childn 10-15 yr 1 tab every 4 hr as required, to max of 4 tab daily.
Patient suffering from liver or kidney disease including non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease; joint pain & needing to take painkillers every day. Pregnancy & lactation.
Severe allergic reactions including difficulty in breathing, skin rash & itching, swelling of face & throat, runny nose.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use w/ anticoagulants to thin blood eg, warfarin; some antibiotics eg, chloramphenicol; medicines to control nausea & vomiting (eg, metoclopramide, domperidone) & high lipid levels (eg, colestyramine).
