Indications/Uses
Staph skin infections, 1st-line therapy for topical treatment of skin impetigo.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to the affected area bid or tid for 7 days.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Resistance may occur. Biliary disease or biliary obstruction & hepatic impairment. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Premature, jaundiced, acidotic or seriously-ill neonates at risk of kernicterus.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions eg, rashes & irritation; mild GI upsets, jaundice, changes in liver function; venospasm, thrombophlebitis, haemolysis, hypocalcaemia & tissue necrosis.
