Following 1st-trimester abortion Start immediately.
Following delivery or 2nd-trimester abortion Start at day 21-28 after delivery or 2nd trimester abortion.
Missed doses: <3 hr late: Take as soon as it is remembered. >3 hr late: Take as soon as it is remembered, additionally use a barrier method for the next 7 days.
