Indications/Uses
Treatment of edema associated w/ CHF, liver cirrhosis & renal disease, including nephrotic syndrome. Adjunctive therapy in acute pulmonary edema. Treatment of HTN w/ or w/o other antihypertensives.

May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications
Hepatic cirrhosis & ascites, hepatic coma, severe electrolyte depletion, hypokalemia & metabolic alkalosis, severe progressive renal disease.
