Erdosteine

Indications/Uses

Acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis & its exacerbations. Resp disorders characterised by abnormal bronchial secretions & impaired mucus transport.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Cap 1 cap bid-tid. Susp Adult & childn >30 kg 10 mL bid, 20-30 kg 5 mL tid, 15-19 kg 5 mL bid.

Overdosage

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Hepatic cirrhosis & cystathionine-synthetase enzyme deficiency. Phenylketonuria (susp only).
