Management of HTN particularly in patient who develop cough w/ ACE inhibitors & reduce the risk of stroke in patient w/ left ventricular hyperthropy. Diabetic nephropathy.
HTN 50 mg once daily, may be increased to 100 mg once daily as single dose or in 2 divided doses. Patient w/ possible intravascular vol depletion & patient w/ hepatic impairment Initially 25 mg once daily. Elderly >75 yr & patient w/ moderate to severe renal impairment (CrCl <20 mL/min) Initially w/ 25 mg once daily.
