Per g Betamethasone dipropionate 640 mcg (equiv to betamethasone 500 mcg), salicylic acid 30 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of the inflammatory manifestation of hyperkeratotic & dry corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses eg, psoriasis, chronic atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis (lichen simplex chronicus), lichen planus, eczema (nummular & hand eczema, eczematous dermatitis), dyshidrosis (pompholyx), seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, ichthyosis vulgaris & other ichthyotic conditions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly to the affected area bid.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if irritation, sensitization or excessive dryness develops. Presence of infection. Occlusive dressings. Not for ophth use. Visual disturbance has been reported w/ systemic & topical corticosteroids use. Pregnancy & lactation. Occurrence of adrenal suppression especially in infants & childn.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral/allergic contact dermatitis; blurred vision.
