Dietary management of patients w/ or at risk of disease related malnutrition in patients w/ impaired glucose tolerance eg, insulin resistance due to acute or chronic diseases; DM.

Source of nutrition 5 bottles (1,500 kcal) daily. Supplemental feeding 2-3 bottles (900 kcal) daily. Supplemental nutrition in childn >3 yr 1-2 bottles daily.

Hypersensitivity. Not suitable whenever enteral nutrition is not permitted eg, in acute GI bleeding, gut atonia, ileus & shock. Severe forms of massimilation. Patients w/ congenital inability to metabolise nutrients contained in Diben.

Monitor feeding rate. Adjust antidiabetic therapy according to the results of regular blood glucose monitoring. Contains caffeine (0.5 mg/100 mL). Ensure adequate fluid intake. Galactosemia. Not for IV use. Not suitable in childn <3 yr.
