Cervarix is indicated from the age of 9 years for the prevention of incident and persistent infection, premalignant ano-genital lesions (cervical, vulvar, vaginal and anal) (including ASCUS, CIN, VIN, VaIN, AIS), and cervical, vulvar, vaginal and anal cancers (squamous-cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma) caused by oncogenic Human Papillomaviruses (HPV).
