Per tab Thiamine mononitrate 100 mg, pyridoxine HCl 200 mg, cyanocobalamin 200 mcg. Per amp Thiamine HCl 100 mg, pyridoxine HCl 100 mg, cyanocobalamin 5 mg

Indications/Uses

Tab: Neurological & other disorders associated w/ disturbance of the metabolic functions influenced by B-complex vit, including diabetic polyneuropathy, alcoholic peripheral neuritis & post-influenzal neuropathies. For the treatment of neuritis & neuralgias of the spinal nerves, especially facial paresis, cervical syndrome, low back pain, ischialgia. Inj: Neuritis, neuralgias, shoulder-arm syndrome, facial paresis, pregnancy neuritis, drug-induced & alcoholic neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, sciatica, lumbago-lumbalgia, intercostals & trigeminal neuralgia, optic neuritis, numbness of extremities, hyperemesis gravidarum & vit B deficiencies.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Tab 1 tab tid. Inj Initially 1 amp intragluteal daily, then 2-3 amp wkly.

Overdosage

Administration

Should be taken with food. Tab: Swallow whole, do not chew.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Tab: Not for suitable for childn due to high content of active ingredient.

Special Precautions

Tab: Galactose or fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, Lapp lactase deficiency or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency. Inj: Patients under levodopa therapy.

Adverse Reactions

Tab: Sweating, tachycardia, itching & urticaria; nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or abdominal pain.

Drug Interactions

Tab Vit B₆: Reduced levodopa activity; Efficacy may be reduced w/ INH, cycloserine, penicillamine & hydralazine. Vit B₁: Reduced blood level w/ loop diuretics (eg, furosemide). Inj Vit B₁: May enhance effect of neuromuscular blocking agents. Vit B₆: Reduces effects of levodopa, altretamine; decrease serum conc of phenobarb & phenytoin. Vit B₁₂: May attenuate effect in anemia w/ parenteral chloramphenicol.
