Patients w/ CV disorders especially coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias & HTN; convulsive disorders, hyperthyroidism, or DM; who are unusually responsive to sympathomimetic amines. Control daily dosage & consider other therapies if therapeutic effect is not evident. Tolerance in prolonged administration. Not appropriate to be taken w/ β-adrenergic blocking agents eg, propranolol.
Not to be used w/ other short-acting sympathomimetic aerosol bronchodilators. Deleterious CV effects w/ additional adrenergic drugs administered by any route.
R03AC02 - salbutamol ; Belongs to the class of adrenergic inhalants, selective beta-2-adrenoreceptor agonists. Used in the treatment of obstructive airway diseases.
