Relief of bronchospasm in patient w/ reversible obstructive airway diseases. Prevention of exercise-induced asthma.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Tab Adult & childn ≥12 yr 2 or 4 mg tid-qid. Max: 32 mg. Syr Adult & childn >14 yr 1-2 tsp tid-qid. 6-14 yr 1 tsp tid-qid not exceeding 24 mg/day in divided doses. 2-6 yr 0.1 mg/kg tid not exceeding 2 mg (1 tsp).

Cardiac arrhythmias associated w/ tachycardia caused by digitalis intoxication.

Special Precautions

Unstable vasomotor systems, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, prostatic hypertrophy, history of seizures, CV disorder, elderly, psychoneurotic patients, patients w/ long-standing bronchial asthma & emphysema who have developed degenerative heart disease.
