Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
HTN, stable & Prinzmetal's angina Initially 5 mg once daily. May be increased to 10 mg once daily if necessary. Elderly & patient w/ hepatic insufficiency Initially 2.5 mg once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Patients w/ severe aortic stenosis, CHF & hepatic impairment. Avoid abrupt w/drawal.
Adverse Reactions
Dizziness, flushing, headache, hypotension, peripheral edema.
Drug Interactions
May potentiate effects of thiazide diuretics & ACE inhibitors.
