Rabeprazole Na
Indications/Uses
Active duodenal & benign gastric ulcer. Symptomatic erosive or ulcerative GERD. Eradication of H. pylori-positive duodenal ulcers in combination w/ appropriate antibiotics. Maintenance treatment of healed erosive or ulcerative GERD.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Active duodenal & benign gastric ulcer 20 mg once daily. Erosive or ulcerative GERD 20 mg once daily for 4-8 wk. GERD maintenance 10 mg once daily up to 12 mth. Eradication of H. pylori Razid 20 in combination w/ appropriate antibiotic.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to rabeprazole Na or substituted benzimidazoles. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Exclude gastric or oesophageal malignancy prior to treatment. Severe hepatic impairment. Not to be used during lactation. Not recommended in childn.
Adverse Reactions
Drug Interactions
Decreased ketoconazole levels. Increased trough digoxin levels.
