Aluminium hydroxide dried gel, magnesium trisilicate, simethicone.
Description
Each chewable tablet contains: Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel 300 mg, Magnesium Trisilicate 300 mg, Simethicone 50 mg.
Action
A combination of antacid and anti-flatulent to treat the symptoms of gastritis. Magnesium Trisilicate and Aluminium Hydroxide neutralized excess stomach acid thus increasing the pepsin. Therefore a sense of gastritis due to irritation by stomach and pepsin is reduced or lost. Simethicone function solves the gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, thus bloating disappears.
Indications/Uses
To reduce the symptoms related to with excess stomach acid, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcers with symptoms such as nausea, bloating and a feeling of fullness in the stomach.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult: 1-2 tablet, 3-4 times daily.
Children: ½-1 tablet, 3 times daily.
Take 1-2 hours before meals and at bed times. While taking the drug, the tablet should be chewed in advance.
Special Precautions
Do not eat more than 10 tablets in 24 hours, except on doctor's instruction.
Use caution in patients with renal impairment, due to absorption of magnesium salts can cause hypermagnesemia.
Not recommended for continuous use more than 2 weeks, except of doctor's recommendation.
Use in Children: Not be given to children under 6 years old, because the cause is not clear.
Side Effects
GENERALLY: Constipation, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, these symptoms will disappear after the drug is discontinued.
Drug Interactions
Shared use between Tetracycline or Cimetidine can reduce the absorption of drug.
Storage
Store at temperature below 30°C and dry in tightly closed containers.
