Indications/Uses
Bacterial conjunctivitis due to susceptible strains of aerobic gm +ve & -ve organisms.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 drop in the affected eye tds for 7 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin or to other quinolones.
Special Precautions
Overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms may occur in prolonged use, including fungi. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <1 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Conjunctivitis, decreased visual acuity, dry eye, keratitis, ocular discomfort, hyperemia, pain & pruritus, & sub-conjunctival hemorrhage & tearing.
