Paracetamol
Indications/Uses
Tab: Pain & fever. Syr/susp: Analgesic-antipyretic in the presence of aspirin allergy; mild to moderate pain.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab 1-2 tab tds or as directed. Syr/susp Childn 3-6 yr 1-2 tsp; 1-3 yr ½-1 tsp; 6 mth-1 yr ½ tsp. May be repeated 4-6 hrly when symptoms occur. Max: 5 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Do not exceed recommended dosage or >5 times daily. Syr/susp: Childn <3 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Syr/susp: Rarely, skin rash & other allergic reactions.
