Fenoterol is used to treat symptoms of asthma and other similar chest illnesses.
Fenoterol helps treat your asthma and other similar chest illnesses by relaxing the airways in your lungs. This helps relieve chest tightness, wheezing and cough so that you can breathe more easily.
Fenoterol may be used on its own or together with other medicines.
Use Fenoterol exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.
Fenoterol is available as different types of inhalers. It is also available as a nebulising solution, to be used with a machine known as a nebuliser.
Make sure you know how to use the specific device or machine you have been given. If you have problems or do not understand the instructions, ask your doctor or pharmacist to show you how to use it.
Always rinse your mouth and throat after using your inhaler.
Fenoterol must be used regularly for it to be effective. Continue using Fenoterol even when you feel better. Do not stop using it unless instructed by the doctor.
If you miss a dose of Fenoterol, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule
