Calcium carbonate, colloidal anhydrous silica, purified talc.
Description
Each 100 g of Rowarolan Cutaneous Powder contains calcium carbonate 90 g, with silica colloidal anhydrous and purified talc.
Indications/Uses
Rowarolan Cutaneous Powder is used as drying agent for the treatment of abrasions, minor cuts, bed sores and leg ulcers.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Sprinkle the powder as directed at least 3 times daily on the affected area or alternatively as recommended by the physician or pharmacist.
The prescribed dose should not be exceeded.
If a dose is missed or forgotten, apply the powder as soon as remembered, then go on as before.
Overdosage
If the powder is accidentally taken by mouth in large quantities, the patient should contact the physician or nearest hospital casualty department and, if possible, bring the powder.
Contraindications
Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
Special Precautions
Rowarolan Cutaneous Powder should not be ingested.
Adverse Reactions
There are no known undesirable effects of the use of Rowarolan Cutaneous Powder. If the patient experience any other undesirable effects, tell the physician immediately.
Storage
The powder should be kept protected from moisture. Do not store above 25°C.
It is best to keep Rowarolan Cutaneous Powder in the original container provided. The powder should be sprinkled as directed and the cap replaced after use.
Patient Counseling Information
If the doctor decides to stop treatment or you find you have the powder after the expiry date, return it to the local pharmacist who will dispose it properly.
