View Pediair overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be administered directly into the mouth or mixed w/ a spoonful of cold or room temp soft food (eg, applesauce), or dissolved in 1 tsp (5 mL) of cold or room temp baby formula/breast milk. Do not dissolve in other liqd. Take immediately (w/in 15 min).
Not for acute asthma attacks. Not to be abruptly substituted for inhaled or oral corticosteroids; short-acting β-agonists. Neuropsychiatric events; eosinophilia, vasculitic rash, worsening pulmonary symptoms, cardiac complications &/or neuropathy. Avoid concomitant aspirin or NSAIDs in patients w/ known aspirin-sensitive asthma. Reduction or w/drawal of oral corticosteroid therapy. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Pregnancy & lactation.
