Indications/Uses
Alopecia androgenetica (hereditary hair loss) in male & female.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 18-65 yr Apply 1 mL (equiv to 10 sprays) bd to scalp. Max: Not to exceed 2 mL (equiv to 20 sprays).
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not to be used in other types of hair loss ie, no family history of hair loss, hair loss is sudden &/or patchy, hair loss is due to childbirth or unknown reason. Discontinue use if hypotension is detected or if patients experience chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness or dizziness, sudden unexplained wt gain, swollen hands or feet or persistent redness. Avoid contact w/ eyes & abraded skin mucous membranes. Not to be used during pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr. Elderly >65 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Mild scalp dermatitis.
Drug Interactions
Increased absorption w/ topical drugs eg, corticosteroids, tretinoin, dithranol or petroleum. Potentiated orthostatic hypotension by peripheral vasodilators.
