Adult syr: Each 5 mL of syrup contains extract equivalent to raw herbs 600 mg of Lagundi (Vitex negundo L.) dried leaves.
Children syr: Each 5 mL of syrup contais extract equivalent to raw herbs 300 mg of Lagundi (Vitex negundo L.) dried leaves.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Preservatives: Methylparaben 0.18% w/v; Propylparaben 0.02% w/v.
Adult syr: Traditionally used for relief of cough and cold.
Children syr: Traditionally used for relief of cough.
Adults: 5 mL (1 tsp) 3 times daily after food.
Or as recommended by pharmacist or physician.
Children (2-12 years old): 2-4 yrs (10-15.5 kg): ½ (2.5 mL) - 1 tsp (5 mL). (3 times daily) after meal.
4-6 yrs (15.5 - 20 kg): 1 tsp (5 mL). (3 times daily) after meal.
6-12 yrs (20 - 40 kg): 1½ (7.5 mL) - 2 tsp (10 mL) (3 times daily) after meal.
Children over 40 kg (body weight): 2 tsp (10 mL) (3 times daily) or as recommended by pharmacist or physician after meal.
Adult syr: There are no known contraindications.
Children syr: Contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
Patients with allergy to Vitex negundo L. (Lagundi) plants.
